We spoke with Gordon at the Pangos Classic and asked him about the programs he's interested in at this time.
We asked if he's particularly high on any one program.
"Duke is probably my first choice right now, just because of the program," said Gordon. "But I haven't really had a chance to look at any schools yet."
Gordon told us he is unsure about offers to date.
"My high school coach talks to everyone, so I'm not sure about offers," said Gordon. "He doesn't want me to get a big head."
When questioned about the timing of his decision, Gordon said, "I'd like to have it pretty set in my mind by the end of my junior year. I might not tell anyone then, but I'd like to have a pretty good idea by then."
Gordon will attend the U.S. U18 Trials on June 16th. If he makes the team, he'll be playing through July 3rd. If he doesn't make the team, his mother told us that he may play at one of the college elite camps at the end of June. She told us that they have not yet decided which camp Drew would attend.
Gordon told us that he currently has "around a 2.6 or 2.7 GPA."
