UCLA and Nebraska have agreed to a two-year, home-and-home football series, the UCLA Athletic Department announced on Monday.
UCLA will host the Cornhuskers in the Rose Bowl on Sept. 8, 2012. The Bruins will travel to Lincoln, NE to return the game against the Big 12 Conference opponent in the 2013 season on Sept. 14.
The schools have played 10 times, with Nebraska holding a 6-4 advantage. They last met in 1994, with the Cornhuskers winning, 49-21 in Lincoln. The schools last played in the Rose Bowl in 1993, with Nebraska winning, 14-13.
UCLA's future non-conference schedules include Notre Dame (h), Utah and BYU (h) in 2007; Tennessee (h), BYU and San Diego State in 2008; Tennessee, Kansas State (h) and San Diego State (h) in 2009; Texas and Kansas State in 2010; Texas (h) in 2011; Nebraska (h) and Rice in 2012; and Nebraska in 2013.
