Are you and your family coming to L.A. next week?
"Yes, my family and I are coming to L.A. next week for a few reasons. We want to visit our family and friends before the summer gets crazy."
If so, is this a vacation for the family? An opportunity for you and your parents to visit UCLA together?
"I wouldn't consider it a vacation, unless you can get us into some oceanside resort? We want to see our family and friends, and I really wanted to come down and play some ball with Josh and Seth Tarver. I've done two unofficial visits in November and February, but not with my parents. Both of them have spent time on the campus when they lived there, but haven't seen it in the last few years. I'm sure they are looking at it differently now, because there's a 50/50 chance that I'll be going to UCLA.
"It's also a great chance for my parents to legally spend some time with Ben (Howland) and Kerry (Keating) in the UCLA environment. Ben and Kerry are the best and my parents really respect and admire them as people, and what they've accomplished at UCLA.
"The first unofficial was great, and I got to see a lot of the campus. I came down for our February unofficial because Kyle (Singler) asked me to. We were only there for 24 hours, then flew back home to watch the Super Bowl. It was great though because I got to see a game at Pauley against Arizona. It was insane. I will never forget how the Bruin fans treated me...chanting and body painting my name. I love those guys."
Do you anticipate playing at all in UCLA's camp? One, two or three days?
"If I have time, I will try to come to the camp for one day. We're only staying 3 days, so only one day is feasible. It looks like there will be some great talent at the camp. I'll be leaving the next week for the ABCD Camp, so I'm sure a lot of the players at the UCLA camp will also be there."
