Texas Athlete Gets UCLA Attention

Eric Foreman, the multi-position athlete from Texas, has caught the eye of UCLA coaches. He has two favorite schools on his list so far...

One of the top multi-position athletes in the Texas has received a scholarship offer from UCLA. Eric Foreman, 6-3, 210, 4.56, Corrigan (Tex.) Corrigan-Camden, plays quarterback, outside linebacker, safety for his high school team.

Most schools are recruiting Foreman as an athlete. "I don't really care if I play offense or defense as long as I play," Foreman said. As a quarterback, Foreman rushed and passed for a combined 2,929 yards and 40 touchdowns. On defense he made 126 tackles and intercepted six passes.

Foreman's favorite schools are the University of Texas and UCLA. "So far I have offers from UCLA, Arizona, Baylor, Missouri and Vanderbilt. All the schools that have offered me keep sending me lots of mail. They are all recruiting me pretty hard right now."

He camped at Texas this summer. "I've always liked the University if Texas. It is a good school, and I have followed them for a while, and UCLA too. Those are my two big schools."

However, Texas has yet to offer a scholarship. Regardless, Foreman wants to enjoy the recruiting process. "Even if Texas offered me I want to take all of my trips before make a decision," he said.

Texas and UCLA will get official visits from Foreman, but he is still up in the air as to the remaining three visits.
