Wednesday was the first day of the Adidas Superstars Camp, with the campers going through a practice session and a light scrimmage.

There wasn't much to glean from it, since it was a short, informal session.

In that short night session, Arizona commit Jamelle Horne made a mark, showing off his athleticism around the basket, with a couple of nice putbacks. Matt Simpkins, who we will still call a rising senior until he appears at a high school in a different class, again showed his raw athletic talent. Both of the rising junior point guards, Jerime Anderson and Larry Drew, looked good, with Anderson giving out assists to his new, surprised teammates, and Drew showing good quickness on the ball and a willingness to set up teammates. Jrue Holiday played aggressively on both ends. Venoy Overton, the Washington point guard, had a few good moments showing off some nice pull-up skills and an ability to get to the rim quickly.

Dave Telep talked to Holiday, and he said that he likes Arizona and UCLA right now, and that while he's open to looking all around the country those two schools are the primary ones at this stage.

We'll have an interview with Luke Babbitt coming soon.
