Kenneth Lombard, the defensive tackle, was working as a defensive end for some of practice. It appears that Kevin Brown and Brigham Harwell are getting a majority of time at the starting DT spots, and Lombard worked with the 2s at end. Working with the 2s at DT were the two freshman, Darius Savage and Jerzy Siewierski.
Starting weakside offensive guard Chris Joseph sat out some of practice for unknown reasons, and junior P.J. Irvin took his place with the 1s.
