Eight members of the UCLA football team have been selected to the 2006 Pac-10 All-Academic team, it was announced today by the Pac-10 Conference.

Junior offensive guard Chris Joseph (3.96 in Geography) and sophomore defensive lineman Kenneth Lombard (3.48 in history) were named All-Academic first team for the second consecutive year.

Senior fullback/special teams performer Dan Nelson (3.40 in history) and redshirt freshman offensive tackle Aleksey Lanis (3.60, major undeclared) earned second team honors.

Four Bruins earned All-Academic honorable mention – sophomore quarterback Ben Olson, senior wide receiver Andrew Baumgartner and sophomore tight ends Ryan Moya and Logan Paulsen.
