In San Antonio a few weeks ago for the U.S. Army Combine, Malik and Marquis Jackson, the twin 6-4, 220-pound junior defensive end prospects from Lake Balboa (Calif.) Birmingham, talked about their game and their early recruitments...

Malik Jackson and Marquis Jackson, the two defensive ends from Lake Balboa (Calif.) Birmingham, are two prospects to definitely watch in the SoCal class of 2008.

Malik, who is 6-4 and 220, had 54 tackles and 12.5 sacks (including five against Valencia) during his junior season at Van Nuys (Calif.) Birmingham in 2006. He also had two fumble recoveries which he took back for touchdowns and an interception during an all-City section season and helped lead Birmingham to the City Section title. He was named to the All-Combine Team at the U.S. Army National Combine in January of 2007.

His brother, Marquis Jackson is also 6-4 and 220, had 39 tackles and five sacks plus a fumble recovery, helping lead Van Nuys (Calif.) Birmingham to the City Section championship in 2006.
