VIDEO: Committed Milton Knox

Milton Knox, the 5-8 running back from Lake Balboa (Calif.) Birmingham, had a tremendous senior year and high school career, finishing as the all-time leading rusher in City Section history. Here are some recent highlights from a playoff game...

Milton Knox, the running back committed to UCLA, capped off a great high school career with a fantastic senior season.

In his final season, Knox ran for 2,210 yards and 39 touchdowns, averaging 157 yards per game.

He became the all-time leading rusher in City Section history, rushing for nearly 6,700 yards in his career, with 103 touchdowns. He also won three City titles in four season. It's considered perhaps the most productive four-year varsity career ever in the City Section.

This season, after a season-opening loss to Crespi, Lake Balboa Birmingham won 13 straight games, including the City Section title last Friday night.

Despite being considered possibly the best city team ever, the Patriots were not named to the Division 1 State Championship game. This Saturday that game will be played at the Home Depot Center between Concord De La Salle from the north, and Corona Centennial from the south.

The video linked below are highlights of Knox's performance in the City Section semi-final game against Crenshaw. Knox ran for 192 yards and four touchdowns.

Knox, with the uncertainty around the UCLA coaching situation, is considering other schools. He has been offered by Florida, and could visit there, along with Colorado.
