"It's weird because he told me before they wanted two tackles," he said. "I know Ricky Barnum committed a few days ago but I called Coach before he did. I'm still considering them but it sounds like they're all filled up."
With the Gators seemingly out of the picture now, other schools have moved up his list.
"I'm also very interested in Georgia," he said. "I spoke to Coach Richt and Coach Searels and they said they're gonna come see me."
Sanders, 6-foot-6 and 275 pounds, has started talking to a few other schools as well.
"I've been talking to UCLA," he said. "Coach Palcic offered me when he was the O-Line coach at Wisconsin and he said even though he moved across the country, he still wants me. I went there over the summer and loved it. It was an amazing place. They wanna bring me down (for an official visit)."
Sanders has also spoken to a few other Florida schools recently.
"I talked to Coach Shannon from Miami today," he said. "They're just starting to talk to me. Him and Coach Stoutland. The thing with them is that they were my very first offer. I remember my coach coming to me as a junior at lunch and saying I got my first offer. When I asked him who it was and he said the University of Miami, I asked him if he meant the school in Ohio. He said, 'no, it's Miami of Florida' and I was surprised. But the thing is, I never really talked to them until now. I know it's a great place but I don't know a whole lot about them right now. I've also talked to Coach Trickett at Florida State and need to call him back to see what's going on with them."
He's already taken official visits to Florida, Georgia, LSU, and Louisville, which leaves him with one.
"I haven't decided yet," he said. "It'll either be UCLA, Florida State, or Miami. (The final decision) is really out of those three and Georgia right now."
Sanders said he knows what he'll be looking for in a school.
"The academics, a school with a winning tradition, the chance to play early, and being comfortable with the coaches," he said.
Sanders is fully qualified inside the classroom with a 3.4 GPA and a 1070 SAT/23 ACT score.
