Division I

Junior wing prospect Jordan Hamilton scored 29 points to lead Compton (CA) Dominguez High School (32-2) to the Southern California Division I Regional title yesterday with an 83-74 victory over Riverside (CA) King High School (32-2), which was led by the 23 points of junior wing prospect Kawhi Leonard. Dominguez will face Oakland (CA) McClymonds High School (31-0), a 50-37 winner yesterday over Concord (CA) De La Salle High School (28-4) in the Northern California Regional title game, next Saturday at 8:00 p.m. at the ARCO Arena in Sacramento for the state championship.

Division II

Junior post and North Carolina commit David Wear scored 21 points and his twin brother and fellow Tar Heel commit Travis scored 11 points to lead Santa Ana (CA) Mater Dei High School (34-1) to the Southern California Division II Regional title yesterday with a 75-59 victory over Fresno (CA) Edison High School (28-5), which was led by junior post prospect Greg Smith, who tallied 20 points and 10 rebounds. Mater Dei will face San Jose (CA) Archbishop Mitty High School (32-1), a 76-56 winner yesterday over Fairfield High School (28-6) in the Northern California Regional title game that was led by the 20 points and 9 rebounds and 8 blocked shots of senior UCLA post signee Drew Gordon, next Friday at 8:00 p.m. at the ARCO Arena in Sacramento for the state championship.

Division IV

Senior UCLA combo guard signee and McDonald's All American Jrue Holiday tallied 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists to lead North Hollywood (CA) Campbell Hall High School (30-5) to the Southern California Division IV Regional title yesterday with a 76-45 victory over Fresno (CA) San Joaquin Memorial High School (26-9). Campbell Hall will face Albany (CA) St. Mary's High School (33-1), an 82-70 winner in the Northern California Regional title game yesterday over Modesto (CA) Christian High School (29-5), which was led by the 27 points and 17 rebounds of junior UCLA post commit Reeves Nelson, next Friday at 1:30 p.m. at ARCO Arena in Sacramento for the state championship.

Division V

Junior post prospect Anthony Stover was limited to just 2 points and 1 blocked shot in 14 minutes of playing time due to foul trouble, but his La Canada (CA) Renaissance Academy High School (27-3) team won the Southern California Division V Regional title with a 55-52 victory yesterday over Los Angeles (CA) Price High School (31-4), which got 20 points and 11 rebounds from senior Washington post commit Tyreese Breshers and 14 points from sophomore shooting guard prospect Allen Crabbe. Renaissance Academy will face Ross (CA) Branson High School (31-3), a 45-28 winner yesterday over San Francisco (CA) Lick-Wilmerding High School (26-9) in the Northern California Regional title game, on Saturday at 11:15 a.m. at ARCO Arena for the state championship.
