Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) Los Osos quarterback Richard Brehaut
had a local offensive coordinator on campus on Wednesday, and that was just one of the many things Brehaut experienced this week.
UCLA offensive coordinator Norm Chow came by the Los Osos campus on Wednesday to watch Brehaut throw, with UCLA still mulling over what quarterback in the 2009 class they will offer.
"It went really well (Wednesday)," said Brehaut. "He said to my coaches he liked what he saw, so I guess we'll see what happens. It's all up to Coach (Rick) Neuheisel now)."
While Brehaut waits on what UCLA does, five more schools have gotten into the mix.
"Nebraska, Oregon and Washington all offered (Wednesday), Wake Forest did (Tuesday) and Colorado State did on Monday," said Brehaut.
Those five offers push Brehaut up to 16, joining offers from San Diego State, Boise State, Washington State, Colorado, Utah, Kansas, Idaho State, Louisville, Oregon State, Arizona and Arizona State.
Next weekend, we'll see Brehaut at the Home Depot Center for the Los Angeles UnderArmour/Scout.com Combine.
Last fall, Brehaut passed for 2,348 yards and 22 touchdowns against eight picks and completed 65% of his passes. He rushed for 528 yards and five touchdowns.
