, the 6-5 wing from Duncanville (Tex.) High, the #46-ranked player in the nation, told Scout.com's Evan Daniels that there is a new school involved in his recruitment.
According to Franklin and his Uncle Andre Johnson, they recently received a call from a UCLA assistant coach. The Bruins told Franklin they are very interested and even talked to him about setting up a visit in the near future.
Franklin had his list down to five schools -- Arizona, Michigan State, Indiana, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State -- but the call has Franklin re-thinking his list.
Franklin is a good athlete who has earned a reputation for a very good attitude and playing very hard. He's not a lights-out shooter, but a decent one, and is very good at the pull-up midrange as well as taking the ball to the basket. He's also a very good and physical defender.
