Stover to Visit UCLA This Weekend

Anthony Stover, the 6-9 center from Los Angeles (Calif.) Windward, has moved up his official visit to UCLA for this coming weekend. Having just visited Arizona last weekend, the long-armed shot blocker could be getting close to making a decision...

Anthony Stover, the 6-9 center from Los Angeles (Calif.) Windward, will visit UCLA officially this weekend, according to sources.

Stover was scheduled to visit UCLA in October, but has moved his visit to this weekend.

He'll be on his official visit the same time as Tyler Honeycutt, the elite small forward from Sylmar (Calif.) High, who recently verbally committed to UCLA.

It's a good development for UCLA, since Honeycutt knows Stover, the two having played in the same AAU program.

Stover just took an official visit to Arizona last weekend, and reports are that the trip went very well and that he's currently a lean to the Wildcats.

Sources are indicating that it's probably a UCLA/Arizona battle for Stover. He's already visited Arizona State and Creighton, but the thought is that, after he visits UCLA this weekend, he could be making up his mind between the Bruins and the Wildcats.
