Stover Getting Closer to Decision

The 6-9 center from Los Angeles Windward, Anthony Stover, one of the elite post prospects in the West Coast class of 2009 and the #70-ranked player in the nation, visited UCLA this weekend and provides a timetable for a decision...

Anthony Stover, 6-9 SR C Los Angeles (Calif.) Windward, took an official visit to UCLA this weekend. I spoke with him this afternoon and asked how the visit went.

"It was great," said Stover. "I had a good time hanging out with the players. Jrue Holiday was my host and I hung out with him, Tyler Honeycutt and all the other freshmen. We got to run some and it was a good chance to get to know them all as players."

Stover went on to say, "I've been there before and I really like the campus. I love the coaching staff. Coach Howland is a great coach and great person. And I really like Coach Garson, Coach Duncan and Coach Daniels."

I asked Stover when he expects to make his decision.

"I'm going to sit down with my family and I'll decide this week – probably late in the week," said Stover.

Stover is the #3 ranked center in the West Coast class of 2009.
