Three Schools Top Moser's List

Mike Moser, a very talented senior wing from Oregon, is back in the middle of the recruiting process after decommitting from Arizona. He took a trip this past weekend to UCLA and says the Bruins are one of his top three choices at the moment...

Mike Moser, 6-6 SR SF Portland (Ore.) Grant, is one of the elite uncommitted players still remaining in the class of 2009. Moser originally committed to Arizona, but changed his mind following the retirement of Lute Olson.

Moser took an official visit to UCLA this past weekend and I asked him how the visit went.

"It was really good," said Moser. "I like UCLA a lot. The campus, the players are real cool and Coach Howland is a great guy."

I asked Moser if any school leads for him at this time.

"Washington, Oregon and UCLA are the top three right now," said Moser.

Moser previously took official visits to Arizona and Oregon. He said a planned official visit to Washington this coming weekend may be pushed back.

"I might take a visit to another school this weekend, but I'm not sure which one," said Moser.

Moser said he's not sure about the timing of his decision.

"I'm taking all these visits now so I can sign in the fall if it feels right," said Moser. "But most likely I'd sign in the spring.

Moser talked a little about the factors that will be important in his decision.

"The opportunity to play right away, the coaching style, how well I relate with the coaches and just where I feel most comfortable," said Moser.
