Moser, Down to Wire, Has 2 Leaders

The very athletic and talented Mike Moser, the 6-7 prospect from Portland (Ore.) Grant, has until Wednesday at midnight to sign a National Letter of Intent, and the latest word is that it's down between two schools...

Mike Moser, the 6-7 wing prospect from Portland (Ore.) High, the #60-ranked player in the nation by, reportedly has UCLA and USC at the top of his list.

Moser de-committed from Arizona a couple of weeks ago, and re-opened his recruitment. He officially visted Oregon November 5th, then took an official visit to UCLA November 8th. This last weekend he officially visited USC. He also planned to go to Oregon State Monday for about five hours, but we have yet to confirm he in fact made that visit.

A little over a week ago, Moser said that the schools leading for him were UCLA, Washington and Oregon, but that's changed since the visit to USC. Sources are indicating that the Trojans have moved up to that first tier with UCLA, and that Washington is now out of it. Oregon, apparently, is running third, and still trying hard for him. Oregon State is also considered not a player at this time.

The November signing period began Wednesday, November 5th, and goes through midnight of this Wednesday, November 12th.

Moser had said previously he could wait until spring to sign, but the indication now is that he intends to make his decision by Wednesday.
