After taking his official visit to UCLA this weekend, Warner said he's solidified things with the Bruins.
"It was good, it was real nice there," said Warner. "I'm solid to UCLA now. Everything should be all set there. I'm getting everything done this winter and then I'm going to take a class or two in the spring and I'll start there in the summer."
Warner said there is a slim possibility he'll take one more visit, to Washington, who offered him earlier this month and wants him for a visit, but regardless, he's solid to the Bruins.
"I got to talk with Coach (Rick) Neuheisel a little bit but I mostly talked with Coach (Todd) Howard, my D-Line coach. He had me and Brian Price talk and everyone is saying how we'll be good together. Everyone is pretty cool there. They said I was funny and I felt like I fit in pretty good. They were like, you better come here. Datone Jones was my host and he's real cool too."
Warner was at home in Georgia in December when Neuheisel came in for an in-home visit, and the visit with his mother went better than expected.
"That went real well," said Warner. "After that, my mom really liked him. I had some cousins there and we all got to talking and I felt good about it. He kept his end of the bargain by coming out to visit. I told him that if he came to my house and talked to my mom, and she likes you, I'm coming."
Warner attended the UCLA-USC game at the Rose Bowl and said his return visit this weekend was a highlight.
"That place is really nice," said Warner. "I can't wait to play there."
