Gelaun Wheelwright, 6-1 SO PG Corona (Calif.) Centennial, is one of the elite guard prospects in the class of 2011. A versatile prospect who will likely be able to play either guard spot in college, Wheelwright has outstanding skills and above average athleticism. He's got a terrific stroke with deep range, as well as an advanced feel for the game.

I spoke with Wheelwright recently and he gave me a list of schools that have been in contact with him.

"UCLA, USC – they invited me to their game against UCLA the other day – Arizona State, UNLV and Long Beach State," said Wheelwright.

I asked Wheelwright if any school stands out for him at the moment.

"The main school I really like is UCLA," said Wheelwright. "I like their style of play and how hard they play."

I asked Wheelwright if he has given much thought to the factors that will influence his decision.

"I really haven't thought about it too much yet," said Wheelwright.

Wheelwright said he doesn't plan on making a decision anytime soon.

"I'd probably wait until my senior year," said Wheelwright. "If I got offers, I'd want to talk it over with my Dad. It'll be my decision, but I'd want to talk with him."

Wheelwright said he currently has a 3.6 GPA.
