One of them is a last minute addition, four-star running back Damien Thigpen from Manassas (Va.) Stonewall Jackson. Thigpen is a soft verbal to Tennessee and is still considering Notre Dame, Mississippi State and UCLA.
Long Beach (Calif.) Poly defensive end Iuta Tepa, who we wrote about on Wednesday, will be taking his final trip and, as he told us earlier this week, if everything goes as planned, he will be committing to the Bruins before the weekend concludes. Tepa was a commit to Hawaii but told us he's not considering the Warriors anymore and said UCLA was his strong leader.
UCLA will also be bringing in three players on official visits that are potential walk-on candidates, but all who have scholarship aspirations.
One is Fresno (Calif.) San Joaquin Memorial defensive end Sullivan Grosz, an excellent student who camped at UCLA and attended a couple of games this year.
Another is San Pedro (Calif.) linebacker Robert Franco, who has offers from New Mexico State and Washington State but has long been a UCLA fan, and has been recruited by new defensive coordinator Chuck Bullough.
Lastly is Jerry Rice Jr., from Menlo (Calif.) Atherton, a receiver who is also considering walk-on options at Stanford and Arizona.
There could potentially be some more last minute adds to the visit list, so be checking the Premium Football Forum for more updates.
