Bradford Wants to Know More

Mark Bradford, the #13-ranked wide receiver prospect in the country, is in the process of taking his official visits to other schools -- but says he want to know more about new UCLA head coach Karl Dorrell...

Mark Bradford, 6-1, 190, Los Angeles (Calif.) Fremont, went to to Holiday Prep basketball tournament in Las Vegas and when we spoke with him Saturday, he hadn't heard that UCLA had hired a new coach.

When told, Bradford said, "I left for Las Vegas Wednesday night, so I didn't hear. It's interesting that he [Karl Dorrell] is a wide receiver coach. I would like to find out more."

Bradford said he had visited LSU, Washington and Washington State. He had planned to visit Oregon January 10th but indicated that he would cancel that trip and visit Stanford that weekend. He also said he has a visit to Notre Dame planned for January 17th. He added that he could unofficially visit UCLA and USC in January also.

All of the schools he mentioned have offered him a scholarship, except for Stanford. "I'm still working on the application," Bradford said. "But they said I'd have a scholarship if I get accepted."

While Bradford said he has no leader, a source close to him indicated that LSU could be the current favorite.

Bradford said he'd more than likely wait until he completed all of his official visits before deciding. "It might be in January, after my last trip," he said. "I really don't know but I'll just let it happen."
