Bruins Offer SoCal Tight End

Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) tight end Randall Telfer (6-4, 217), picked up his sixth and seventh offers on Thursday, both from the Pac-10.

"UCLA and Arizona State offered me," said Telfer.

The Bruins and Sun Devils join Washington, USC, Stanford, Tennessee and Vanderbilt in offering Telfer.

"My top seven is USC, UCLA, Arizona State, Oregon, Washington, Tennessee and Vanderbilt," said Telfer.

During his junior season, Telfer helped lead the Cougars to the CIF-SS title and the Baseline League title, in a league that included Richard Brehaut and Josh Nunes-led offenses, catching 42 passes for 678 yards and five touchdowns. He was an all-CIF, all-Baseline League and all-Inland Valley pick.

Academically, he has a 3.5 GPA and will take the SAT in the spring.
