Georgia Corner Hears from UCLA

The 5-11, 175-pound cornerback prospect, B.J. Bostic from Jefferson County High School in Louisville, Georgia, got some news from the UCLA coaching staff recently. Bostic talked to about it, and his intention to take a visit out west...

"UCLA offered me today," said B.J. Bostic Thursday evening.

"They called Coach Arnold (Jefferson County Head Coach) and left him a message about offering me, so I checked me email when I got home."

"I had an email from Coach [Todd] Howard and Coach [Carnell] Lake and they told me that they wanted to offer me a scholarship and that the papers were in the mail. I talked to both of them after I saw the email and they said the same things to me."

At this time, Bostic does not know a lot about the Bruins, but he hopes to find out more about them later this summer.

Bostic said: "My assistant coach said we will take a trip out to Los Angeles this summer and check them out. I have not been out there before, so I am looking forward to it. I want to check them out."

UCLA joins Georgia Tech, Maryland, Kentucky, and Maryland on Bostic's offer list.

The 5-foot-11, 175-pound athlete out of Wadley, Georgia, has been offered on both and offense and defense by different programs. UCLA offered him as a corner.

This may not be the only offer of the week for Bostic. He thinks two more schools could offer in the coming days.

"I think UConn (Connecticut) is going to offer me on Friday and I think Vanderbilt is going to offer me on Saturday when I visit for Junior Day."

When asked about favorites, he said, "Georgia Tech, Florida, Georgia, West Virginia, and Kentucky," were his current top five.
