OL Peterson On UCLA's Watch List

Redlands (Calif.) East Valley offensive lineman David Peterson has been to a few UCLA practices during the spring and the Bruins are one of a host of schools checking out the 6-4, 260-pounder.

"I don't have any offers yet, but recruiting has been going pretty good," said Peterson. "Arizona, UCLA and Oregon are probably the ones recruiting me the most and I'm hearing from Washington a little bit."

Peterson can play all along the offensive line, but said he thinks his future is right in the middle.

"I think I'll probably end up as a center in college," said Peterson. "UCLA and Boise State both said they like me as a center."

Peterson said he talks mostly with Wayne Moses from the Bruin staff.

"Coach Moses said they'll come out to spring ball and watch me," said Peterson.

Peterson said his top five schools were Arizona, Arizona State, Michigan State, Oregon and UCLA.

He's planning to camp at Arizona and UCLA during the spring.

Academically, he has a 2.7 GPA and will take the SAT this Saturday.
