Two weekends ago, Turner was in Los Angeles for a camp and made a couple of campus visits.
"Our trip to California was for the Nike Camp, but Coach Franklin invited me to the Rising Star Camp at USC in June so I wanted to meet him while we were there," said Turner. "But we ended up at their scrimmage, which was cool but I never talked to him because we left right after the game for another meeting with UCLA."
Turner's trip to Westwood went well.
"I had a really good visit at UCLA, and I got a good feeling from Coach (Todd) Howard. He showed me, and my parents that UCLA is very seriously interested. I feel like I have a good chance to play where ever I end up, but I think I can become an impact right away at UCLA. I also think UCLA, Arizona State and Oregon are going to be some of the best teams in the Pac-10 real soon."
Turner was hoping to make an early decision, but now he's hoping to go through the process a little more.
"We left UCLA confused, not so sure about my prior intentions to just camp at Oregon, USC and Arizona State, earn an offers, commit to one, and be done with the recruiting process. But, now I am very excited about camping at UCLA this summer."
Turner is also getting interest from some other programs.
"I've also been hearing a whole lot from Colorado and Utah lately," said Turner.
Turner has already attended Arizona State's Junior Day and he'll be back in Los Angeles later this month for the Scout.com Combine.
