Snead In Final Stretch

The rush defensive end prospect from Oakland, William Snead, has taken all his official visits and is in the home stretch toward making a decision. Two coaches from one school will be in his home tonight for a visit...

William Snead, 6-4, 210, Oakland (Calif.) Skyline, is having an in-home visit with UCLA this evening.

"Coach Dorrell and Coach Embree are coming tonight," Snead said.

Snead has cut his list down to three schools – UCLA, California, and Arizona State. An ASU coach came to visit Snead yesterday at his school, and he has an in-home visit with a Cal coach scheduled for next week.

Snead said he doesn't currently have a leader and the in-home visits will have a big impact on his decision. He, for one, has never met the new UCLA coaches in person. "I've talked to them on the phone and they seemed allright," he said. "I really want to find out more about the program and what they want to do."

When asked when he might make a decision, Snead said he wasn't too sure. "I'm done with my trips. I'll decide between those three schools. So, it might be soon. It might be next week, I don't know exactly." Is there a possibility he could verbally commit to the Bruins tonight? "I don't know," Snead said.

Snead enjoyed all three of his official visits, but said that one stood out. "The one to UCLA. It might have just been a better weekend. At ASU, it was during finals. At UCLA I met so many more people. Everyone was around. And I really enjoyed everything we did."
