"Everything was perfect, there wasn't one negative about it," Brown said. "Lorenzo Booker was my host and he's a great guy. He's different than what I thought he would be like, he was really down to earth and humble. I liked him a lot.
"Meeting Coach Bowden was great too. I wore my CaliFlorida Bowl jersey out there and had him sign it. He's like a grandfather and we didn't even talk that much about football, we just talked more about life. I was never home sick there and I can definitely see myself playing for Florida State. They're bringing me in as a offensive lineman but said if I want to give defense a try, I'll have that opportunity.
"The way I look at, if they want me as an offensive lineman, that's what I'll come in as. I'll play wherever they need me. I met both the OL and DL coaches and liked them a lot. They told me my offer is good all the way through to Signing Day, even if other players commit there, they will still have a spot for me. Overall it was a great trip. I ate like crazy too. I weighed myself when I got home and I gained 10 pounds over the weekend. Right now, I would have to say FSU is my leader but I want to give UCLA a fair shot this weekend too."
Brown has already visited San Diego State and will trip to UCLA this weekend. Nebraska and Florida have called about a visit as well and Brown could visit one of those two schools if he's still not sure where he's going after this weekend.
"UCLA is going to have to do a lot to impress me more than Florida State," Brown said. "They have a whole new staff in so it's almost like it's a new school. I like coach Dorrell and I think he has things turning in the right direction. I already know a lot about the school but I'm hoping to just get a better feel for what they have to offer and how I would fit in there."
Brown said Coach Dorrell will be coming in for a home visit this weekend and coach Bowden has an in-home visit set for (Jan. 30).
