Prince Out With Fractured Jaw

It was determinted Sunday that UCLA quarterback Kevin Prince fractured his jaw in the hit he received in the endzone for the safety during the Tennessee game Saturday.

Sunday afternoon, Prince's fractured jaw was wired shut at the UCLA Ronald Reagan Hospital. The procedure was performed to assist in the healing process. X-rays showed a fractured mandible. He is expected to be sidelined three to four weeks.

Prince was evaluated by the medical staff in the locker room following the win at Tennessee and there was a concern Prince might have suffered a fractured jaw. X-rays were scheduled for Sunday morning and they confirmed the fracture.
