The three-star visited Washington State for his first trip, the Cougars having offered him during the summer.
"It was a really good trip, I liked it a lot," said Kendricks. "It was my first time visiting Washington State and it was real clean and real beautiful. Everything was real convenient and it's a nice campus and the facilities are excellent."
Kendricks said that the temptation to commit was there, but he's trying to take his time.
"I was tempted a little bit, but I still want to keep my options open," said Kendricks. "I know I'm going to take all of my visits, but I don't have any set up yet."
Kendricks' other two offers are from Fresno State and Nevada, but several other schools are showing interest in him.
"Pretty much the whole Pac-10 except USC is recruiting me," said Kendricks.
One school close to him is Cal, where his brother, Mychal, plays for the Bears.
Kendricks said, "I'd like to play with my brother, but then again, I'd like to create my own path also."
Kendricks, who camped at UCLA during the summer, has a top five that is pretty Pac-10 dominant.
"My top five schools are Washington State, Cal, UCLA, Oregon and Arizona," said Kendricks.
On the year, Kendricks has 31 tackles in two games for Hoover.
