Did Josh Smith Visit UCLA or Not?

Many sources were uncertain whether Josh Smith, the 6-9 center from Kent (Wash.) Kentwood, who has been a primary target for UCLA recruiting, actually took his official visit to UCLA...

As we've reported, Josh Smith, the 6-9 center from Kent (Wash.) Kentwood, is on his official visit to UCLA this weekend.

He arrived Saturday and will stay through Sunday. As we reported earlier, he came Saturday so he could play in his high school football game Friday night.

There were various reports from other sources this week that indicated Smith wouldn't visit UCLA this weekend like he had said he would at an earlier date.

But Bruin Report Online reported earlier in the week that Smith would visit.

Also on his official visit at the same time as Smith is UCLA-committed wing Tyler Lamb from Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei.

Ray McCallum, the 6-1 point guard from Beverly Hills (Calif.) Detroit Country Day, and Trey Zeigler, the 6-4 wing from Mt. Pleasant (Mich.) High, took their official visits Thursday to Saturday.

Friday, McCallum and Zeigler participated in a pick-up game on campus. Lamb also participated, coming to campus a day before his official visit to see McCallum and Zeigler.
