Jones Sets Five Visits, Maybe Sixth

Terrence Jones, the 6-7 forward from Portland (Ore.) Jefferson who is the #20 player in the nation, has nailed down dates for his official visits...

Terrence Jones is slowly navigating his way through the recruiting process.

After listening to sales pitches during his in-home visits, Jones, a standout at Portland (Ore.) Jefferson, narrowed his list of schools to seven. Now he's setting up visits.

The current plan is to start off with Oklahoma on October 9th. The next weekend he'll head to Washington. Then he has a decision to make.

"This is the hang up," Jefferson coach Pat Strickland told Scout.com. "He's either Kansas or Arizona the weekend of October 23rd. He hasn't decided which one he wants to do."

He'll then head to Kentucky on the 28th for an official visit. Just a few days later on the 31st the plan is to visit Oregon for an unofficial visit. His last official will then be November 6th to UCLA.

"He said he wanted to sign early," Strickland said. "From the looks of it though I just don't know."

Jones is five-star prospect and ranked No. 20 overall in the class of 2010.
