West's Top LB Talks About Visits

The West's top linebacker and one of UCLA's big defensive recruiting targets, Los Angeles (Calif.) Crenshaw's Hayes Pullard, will take an official visit to a Pac-10 school this weekend, his second visit...

Los Angeles (Calif.) Crenshaw linebacker Hayes Pullard is set for his second official visit this weekend.

"I'm going on an official visit this weekend to Arizona State," said Pullard.

Pullard previously visited Notre Dame, and he's also got a third trip set up for the end of next month.

"I'm going to Washington when they play Washington State," said Pullard. "I haven't scheduled any others."

Pullard is still debating whether or not he'll take his final two visits to the two Los Angeles schools, USC and UCLA.

"I don't know yet on those," said Pullard. "Me and my mom are thinking about it."

Pullard said five schools are standing out for him.

"Arizona State, Washington, UCLA, USC and Notre Dame," said Pullard. "It's no real order, but that's the top five."

And Pullard is targeting when he'd like to announce.

"It will be around Signing Day," said Pullard.

Pullard has been a big part of Crenshaw's success in 2009, which has them at 7-0, and piling up several blowouts, where Pullard and the rest of Crenshaw's starters rarely see the field in the second half.

"The season has been great so far," said Pullard.

On the year, he has 27 tackles and an interception while offensively, he's rushed for 375 yards on 36 carries and scored four touchdowns, including three carries for 151 yards and two touchdowns in last week's 62-0 blowout of Fremont.
