Jimmy Stephens, 6-3, 230, Torrance (Calif.) Bishop Montgomery, verbally committed to UCLA.

Stephens is not a well-known prospect, but he reportedly had a very good senior year. He played tight end, h-back, fullback and linebacker for Bishop Montgomery.

UCLA recruited him primarily for the offensive side of the ball.

Stephens took an official visit to UCLA this past weekend and was offered a scholarship. Boise State had previously offered him.

Former Bruin linebacker and current Bishop Montgomery head coach Arnold Ale recommended Stephens to UCLA late in the process. UCLA reportedly received a highlight reel of Stephens from his senior season which won over UCLA, in which he looked very good at different positions on offense.
