A huge clash in the City Section between Crenshaw and Dorsey headlines Week Nine's action of high school football...

Game of the Week: Crenshaw vs. Dorsey
The Coliseum League title is on the line when top-ranked Crenshaw hosts Dorsey. The Cougars are led by Hayes Pullard, one of UCLA's main targets, and 2011 star DeAnthony Thomas, while Dorsey is paced by Charles Garrett and 2011 prospect Matthew Lyons. Crenshaw is 8-0 and 3-0 in league play while Dorsey is also 3-0 and 7-1 overall.

Danville Monte Vista vs. San Ramon California
Monte Vista, led by UCLA committed quarterback Brett Nottingham, snapped their three-game losing streak a week ago, but tries to keep its postseason chances alive when they host California, who's in second place.

Santa Clara vs. Oaks Christian
Unbeaten Oaks, and UCLA commit Malcolm Jones take on Santa Clara, who's stock has stumbled with the graduation of Cierre Wood in a matchup of an 8-0 team in Oaks and a 1-7 team in Santa Clara. Expect Jones and Co., to play minimally.

Chula Vista Eastlake at Chula Vista Bonita Vista
UCLA commit and U.S. Army All-American Tony Jefferson and Eastlake look to extend their winning streak to seven games and stay undefeated in Mesa League play when they take on second place Bonita Vista.

Rainier Beach vs. Bellevue
Bellevue tries to extend their winning streak to 21 wins over Washington opponents, and begins their defense of their 3A state title in a first round matchup of the state playoffs. UCLA verbal Julious Moore and the Wolverines defense, the top seed from the KingCo, take on Rainier Beach, where UCLA head coach Rick Neuheisel coached earlier this decade.

Bosco Tech at Gardena Serra
The Cavalier, with UCLA target Paul Richardson part of the offense, takes their unbeaten record up against Bosco Tech, in a non-league game, their final test before their long awaited showdown with Cathedral in a week.

Loyola at Notre Dame
Junior quarterback Jerry Neuheisel and UCLA target John Young lead the Cubs in their biggest game of the year, against first place Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, in what could be a must-win game for the Cubs. Notre Dame is led by underrated quarterback Ryan Kasdorf.

Corona vs. Santiago
A Corona defense led by UCLA recruit Chidera Uzo-Direbe and Demetrius Wright goes up against the Sharks, led by Duke commit Brandon Connette at quarterback. The Panthers will have UCLA recruit Jordon James to run the Wildcat while the Sharks defense is led by 2011 prospect Thierry Nguema.

Anaheim Servite vs. Orange Lutheran
The Trinity League title is at stake when Servite and OLu face off at Cerritos College. With it will come a high seed in the Pac-5 playoffs. Servite is led by Cody Fajardo at quarterback and UCLA target Kirifi Taula while OLu's big prospect is three-star linebacker Garrett Gilliland.

Santa Ana Mater Dei vs. Santa Margarita
Mater Dei and UCLA commit Chris Ward snapped a rare three-game losing streak and look to keep their postseason hopes alive when they face last-place Santa Margarita in a Trinity League contest.

Brookhaven (Ohio) vs. Walnut Ridge
UCLA commit Derrick Bryant and Brookhaven face Walnut Ridge on Friday night in Columbus in their final regular season game before the state playoffs begin.

Melvindale vs Orchard Lake St. Mary Prep
UCLA pledge Earnest Thomas and OLSMP take on Melvindale in the MHSAA Div. 3, Region 4, District Final.

Fresno Edison vs. Fresno Bullard
Edison boasts two UCLA commits, cornerback Tevin McDonald and defensive lineman Wesley Flowers and they take on Bullard, who's 3-0 and in front in the County/Metro League in a game that could ultimately decide the league title.

Fresno Hoover vs. Reedley
Newest UCLA commit Eric Kendricks leads Hoover against Reedley, and keeps their faint County/Metro League title hopes alive.

La Costa Canyon vs. Fallbrook
Five-star receiver Kenny Stills leads La Costa Canyon against Fallbrook, with the San Diego Section receiving record in his sight.

Ontario Colony vs. Chino Don Lugo
Before he takes an official visit to UCLA, defensive tackle George Uko will lead Don Lugo against Colony, led by four-star receiver Kenneth Scott, in a key Mt. Baldy League contest.

Scottsdale Saguaro vs. Queen Creek
It's homecoming and senior night at Saguaro, where UCLA commit Kody Innes and his Sabercat tries to improve to 8-2 in their final regular season game.

Carson vs. Narbonne
The Marine League title is on the line when the Carson Colts, led by Wade Yandall, a UCLA target take on Narbonne, led by U.S. Army All-American Sean Parker.

Other UCLA Offers in Action
Los Angeles Cathedral and Anthony Jefferson will take on Harvard-Westlake. Palmdale and Joshua Shaw face Lancaster Eastside. Palmdale Highland and Christian Thomas take on Lancaster. Pittsburg, with Erick Dargan sidelined, takes on Brentwood Liberty. Carson and Wade Yandall hosts Wilmington Banning. Tesoro and Sil Ajawara face San Clemente. Fontana Kaiser and Josh Shirley take on Bloomington.

Thursday Night Action
Los Alamitos and Shaquille Richardson topped Esperanza, 21-19.
