Things Getting Good for Lucky

Woodland Hills (Calif.) Taft athlete Lucky Radley will head to Big Ten school for official trip this weekend and recruiting seems to be accelerating for the three-star prospect, including more contact from UCLA...

Woodland Hills (Calif.) Taft athlete Lucky Radley will take his second official visit this weekend, heading to Big Ten country.

"I'm visiting Michigan this weekend," said Radley.

The three-star safety said the Wolverines offered him, but as an offensive player.

"They offered me as a running back," said Radley.

Radley visited North Carolina last month and will visit Utah next month, but he's anxiously awaiting his trip to Ann Arbor.

"Yeah, I'm really excited, really fired up about visiting Michigan," said Radley.

But Radley isn't in a rush to make a decision anywhere.

"I'm still going to be waiting to commit," said Radley. "I want to take more trips. I want to do it sooner than Signing Day, but I'm not in a rush. If I have to wait until then, so be it."

On Wednesday night, Radley had his first in-home visit, with Utah assistant coach John Pease.

And more schools will be setting up in-homes in the next few weeks.

In the meantime, he's hearing from a host of schools.

"I'm hearing more from Cal and UCLA and I'd really like a Stanford offer," said Radley. "South Carolina and UCLA are recruiting me as an athlete, and mostly everyone else is still recruiting me as a safety."

Radley said he'd be taking all five of his official visits before he decides.

So is anyone in the drivers seat?

"Nope, I don't have a leader," said Radley.
