The U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio started its practices earlier this week and UCLA has one commit in the game in Gatorade National Player of the Year and Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian running back Malcolm Jones.
Several more of UCLA's targets are playing in that game, including Portland (Ore.) Douglass defensive end Owamagbe Odighizuwa, Salt Lake City (Utah) Brighton defensive tackle Ricky Heimuli, Fontana (Calif.) Kaiser linebacker Josh Shirley, Duncan (S.C.) Byrnes defensive tackle Brandon Willis, Hargrave (Va.) Military Academy defensive end Ego Ferguson, Temple (Texas) running back Lache Seastrunk and Goodyear (Ariz.) Millenium safety Marquis Flowers. Los Angeles (Calif.) Loyola athlete Anthony Barr was selected and will travel to San Antonio, but will not play because of an ankle injury.
The U.S. Army Bowl will take place on Saturday, January 9th at 10 a.m. PST on NBC.
The Offense-Defense Bowl, in Myrtle Beach, S.C., concluded last week with a pair of UCLA commits are on the West: Gardena (Calif.) Serra receiver Paul Richardson and his cousin, Los Alamitos (Calif.) cornerback Shaquille Richardson, as well as recruit Hayes Pullard, the four-star linebacker from Los Angeles (Calif.) Crenshaw.

The UnderArmour All-America Game in Orlando, included Corona (Calif.) running back Jordon James and Broomfield (Colo.) Legacy kicker Kip Smith, who both played for Team White, in addition, UCLA target Dietrich Riley from La Canada (Calif.) St. Francis, a safety prospect, played for Team White as well.
