We talked to a number of recruits in the last day and got their quick reactions to some of this week's drama between UCLA and USC. Prospects like Hayes Pullard, Brett Nottingham and Dietrich Riley talk about their impressions and plans...

Hayes Pullard, LB, Los Angeles Crenshaw: "I'm visiting USC this weekend and then UCLA next weekend. Then I'm done with my visits and I'll decide on Signing Day."

Brett Nottingham, QB, Danville (Calif.) Monte Vista, Committed: "I was worried that Coach (Norm) Chow was leaving because I was really looking forward to learning for him. So I was pretty excited when I heard today that he was staying. I'm visiting Stanford (this weekend) because I have the visits, but I'm still solid to the Bruins."

Dietrich Riley, S, La Canada (Calif.) St. Francis: "My brother and I made an agreement that I wouldn't visit USC until they hired a DB coach. So I'm going up to UCLA this weekend unofficially to hang out with the recruits and go to the basketball game."

Xavier Grimble, TE, Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman, Committed to USC: "I'm visiting USC this weekend and I'm solid to USC. I'm still thinking about visits, but I dont know, I will probably decide if I will after this weekend."

Giovanni Di Poalo, OL, Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure, Committed to USC: "I'm waiting to see who the offensive line coach is. But I'm still committed to USC."

Malcolm Jones, RB, Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian, Committed: "I'm solid to UCLA and was no matter what Coach Chow did. I'm looking forward to my visit and to being at UCLA this weekend."
