The 2010 McDonald's All-American list is out.

After playing in camps, AAU tournaments and high school events across the country, 24 of the nation's top high school basketball players were chosen to participate in the prestigious all-star game.

The nation's top prospect Harrison Barnes was selected to the game, as was Scout.com's top 18 players, except for No. 8 Will Barton, who wasn't eligible for the game because of a post-grad year.

Keith Appling, of Detroit (Mich.) Pershing, and JayVaughn Pinkston, of Brooklyn (N.Y.) Bishop Loughlin, were the surprise picks, as both are ranked outside Scout.com's top 30.

The 2010 class is heavy point guard class and that showed in the voting, as seven prospects -- Brandon Knight, Kyrie Irving, Joe Jackson, Josh Selby, Kendall Marshall, Corey Joseph and Ray McCallum -- that are listed as lead guards made the game.

North Carolina, Ohio State and Memphis were the winners this year. The Tar Heels have three players in the game – Barnes, Marshall and Reggie Bullock – while Ohio State and Memphis each had two selected.

The game will take place on March 31st at the Value City Arena in Columbus (Ohio).
