Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure linebacker Jalen Jefferson
(6-3, 210), is continuing to receive serious interest from much of the Pac-10, as well as a couple of national schools.
Jefferson has offers from Washington, Arizona State and Washington State, and more schools are on the cusp.
"Basically, I'm getting recruited by the whole Pac-10 but Cal, pretty heavily," said Jefferson. "Oregon and Arizona, I think they could be next to offer me."
Jefferson, who grew up a USC fan, is hearing from the Trojans as well as their cross-town rivals, UCLA.
"I went to UCLA's practice on Sunday and watched their scrimmage," said Jefferson, who attended a handful of Bruin games in the fall. "I'm going to go to a USC practice too. They want me to come to their Rising Stars Camp in the summer."
In addition, Jefferson is hearing from Colorado, Vanderbilt, UConn, Northwestern and Texas A&M.
"I don't really have a top five right now and it will be a while till I commit. I'm still pretty open," said Jefferson. "I'll take my visits first."
Jefferson got the offers from Arizona State and Washington State last Friday.
"They both came on the same day and I was pretty excited about them," said Jefferson.
In addition to the Rising Stars Camp, Jefferson will camp at the Nike Camp in Los Angeles later this month.
Academically, he's carrying a 3.2 GPA and took the SAT earlier this month and will take the SAT later this spring.
