Ray McCallum, the 6-1 point guard from Beverly Hills (Mich.) Detroit Country Day, will announce he's attending Detroit next season, according to sources.

McCallum's father, Ray McCallum, Sr., is the head coach at Detroit.

McCallum picked his father's program over UCLA, Arizona and Florida.

UCLA very well could now turn to Deonte Burton, the shooting guard from Compton (Calif.) Centennial; Matt Carlino, the 2012 shooting guard who could leave high school early and enroll this fall, or John Loyd, the 5-9 point guard from Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman.
