Darian Cooper, the 6-2, 290-pound defensive tackle prospect from Hyattsville (Maryland) DeMatha Catholic, is on a heck of a roll with his recruiting. It seems that he is picking up scholarshop offers weekly and today he picked up his seventh offer so far.

This one comes from a long way as UCLA has added its name to his offer list.

Cooper, one of the most highly regarded defensive tackles on the east coast, is very happy to get an offer from the other side of the country and is looking forward to a trip out there at some point.

"I got an offer from UCLA today," said Cooper. "I'm grateful and excited about this one. I never thought I would have a school across the nation offering me. I'm honored. I would like to visit but I'm not sure when yet. I will have to talk to my mom about it."

Currently, Cooper holds seven offers. Besides UCLA, Cooper has received offers from Marshall, Penn State, Michigan, Maryland, Illinois and East Carolina.
