Mitchell excelled in the 1-on-1's, not losing one at all during the combine.
The 6-3, 290-pound Mitchell has one offer from the Pac-10 officially, is one the cusp of getting one from another, and plans to camp at two more Pac-10 schools in hopes of landing an offer from them.
"I have one offer from Oregon State and I have an offer in the summer coming from Oregon if my grades are all set," said Mitchell. "And my coach said he's been talking with UCLA and USC a lot about me."
Mitchell's summer plans will take him to numerous college camps.
"I'm doing all of the Oregon camps and Oregon State camps and then the Nike Camps in Oregon," said Mitchell. "And I've been invited to the USC Rising Stars Camp and the UCLA Big Lineman Camp. So I'm making it down to UCLA and USC this summer to try and catch their eye."
Mitchell said those four Pac-10 schools and an ACC dot his top five.
"My top five is USC, Oregon, Miami, Oregon State and UCLA," said Mitchell. "If there is one school that is the favorite, it's USC. I grew up a USC fan."
Mitchell said he could play any position on the offensive line but admits his future is probably inside.
"I want to play offensive line and it doesn't matter what I play, I just want to be on the offensive line. That's one of the things about the line, you have to be able to play all positions. But all schools like me as a guard," said Mitchell.
