Langi was a Vegas 21 pick at the Badger/New Level 7on7 Tournament in Las Vegas, just missing MVP honors, won the running back MVP award at the Miami NFTC and again just missed MVP honors for the backs at the Los Angeles NFTC.
So it's no surprise that the power back is being recruited from programs around the country.
The 10th ranked back nationally, Langi has a solid list of schools in the mix for him, even if he's not ready to make a decision.
And three schools are in the lead for him.
"My top three schools are BYU, Stanford and UCLA," said Langi, who said Utah was just behind them at fourth. "I can't really say a favorite right now. I'm just taking my time."
Langi has already taken in numerous unofficial visits to schools around the West and plans to do more in the coming weeks.
"I want to see some more schools, do some unofficial visits and do some more camps this summer," said Langi. "I'm not really in a rush to decide."
Langi said schools like USC, Miami, Oregon, Oregon State, Washington, Alabama and LSU have also been expressing interest in him and have indicated they will be by the Bingham campus during the spring to check him out closer.
"That's why I'm not rushing a decision, I want to know all of my options out there," said Langi.
Langi said that the three schools he's favoring all have something that stands out.
"BYU is the home school, and that's where all my friends and family want me to go," said Langi. "I know a lot about the Y and feel really comfortable there. At Stanford, Coach (Jim) Harbaugh is a really good coach and they were one of the first schools to offer me. UCLA, Coach (Norm) Chow is recruiting me and he's a really good guy and knows a lot about me."
Known more for his physical presence on the field, Langi has shown this spring that he can be used as an every down back and is more than just a between the tackles runner, but can catch the ball, show some good speed and put the moves on defenders.
"I'm just trying to get out to these camps and show every part of my game," said Langi.
Langi did it all for Bingham last fall, rushing for 1,514 yards and 21 touchdowns and catching 18 passes for 317 yards and scoring four more touchdowns through the air, helping them to the state championship.
A stellar student, Langi is carrying a 3.7 GPA and has taken both the ACT and SAT.
