Los Alamitos (Calif.) offensive tackle Ben Wysocki (6-5, 285), is one of the premier offensive linemen in Orange County in the class of 2011.

With one Pac-10 offer, Wysocki thinks the spring will give him options aplenty.

"Stanford just offered me and to get it from such a great school, academic-wise, and how they're rising up in football, I was stoked," said Wysocki. "I had been hearing about guys in my league who were getting offers, so I really wanted to get that offer. Our defensive coordinator showed them some game film and they were pretty excited and told him don't be surprised if they offered soon. Then I got the letter. Coach (Brian) Polian has been the one recruiting me."

Wysocki said most of the Pac-10 is expressing interest in him.

"Pretty much the whole Pac-10 is writing me and is coming by the school or came by already," said Wysocki. "I've talked with Coach Reggie Davis at Oregon State and then he came by the school. Oregon's coach said they're about to offer later on this month and UCLA is showing me a lot of interest. Washington is talking with me a bit too and I'm hearing a little from USC."

Wysocki said the Bruins were the first to send him a letter.

"They recruited a few guys out of my school and they sent me my first letter," said Wysocki. "They came to our game against La Habra and they saw me play when they came to watch Shaq (Shaquille Richardson, who signed with the Bruins). I went to their Spring Game too."

Wysocki also has been a guest at USC earlier this year.

"I went to USC for their Junior Day in late February and USC is definitely a school I'm interested in," said Wysocki. "I'm going to the Rising Stars Camp at USC this summer."

In addition, Wysocki said schools like Boise State, Idaho, Iowa State, San Diego State and Northern Arizona are also recruiting him.

"I'm getting looked at as a left tackle," said Wysocki. "Some say a guard, but mostly, it's for tackle."

Wysocki said the Cardinal head his top five, with a strong Western presence.

"For my top five, I'd have to say Stanford for sure is number one and then UCLA, Oregon, Oregon State and Boise State," said Wysocki.

There isn't a decision imminent for Wysocki.

"I won't decide until after my senior season," said Wysocki.

Wysocki said he's planning to visit Palo Alto in late May.

Academically, Wysocki has a 3.67 GPA.
