Jeff Worthy, the 6-3, 280-pound defensive tackle prospect from La Habra (Calif.) Whittier Christian, recently did a Q&A with eDuck.com.

How would you describe yourself as a player?

"I'd say my strengths are: I have a motor, I have a good nose for the ball, I've got really, really good hands, good technique. I'd say my weaknesses are probably my footwork -- it needs a little bit of work -- and I need to get a little bit tiny faster, maybe cut down my 40 time, and that's about it."

Would you compare yourself to anyone at the collegiate or professional level?

"Ndamukong Suh."

What are you looking for in a program?

"'Do I feel at home?' 'Can I see myself living there for four years?' The engineering department -- because I want to be an engineer -- and 'Do you guys have a shot a national championship or conference championship?' And 'Can I get to the next level from your school?'"

You're looking to study engineering when you get to college?

"Yeah, that and I just sparked an interest in being a sports agent, so maybe business or business administration or something like that."

What are some of the scholarship offers that you hold right now from other schools?

"Nebraska, SMU, Oregon State, Arizona State, UCLA, Boise State, San Diego State, and I think that's it."

Which unofficial visits have you taken and which unofficial visits are you planning on taking?

"Well, obviously Oregon. I'm obviously gonna take an unofficial or if I don't get around to that, an official. I've taken an unofficial visit to UCLA, SMU, and Boise State. I'm at Boise State's camp right now actually."

Do you currently have an offer from Oregon?

"No I do not."

What kind of contact have you had with Oregon since the recruiting process started for you?

"I just started talking to them about two weeks ago. It started out with Coach (Tom) Osborne, the special teams coach, and it moved on to Coach (Jerry) Azzinaro. I've been talking to him and they want me to come up there on a visit sometime next week, but I don't know if I'll be able to go up there. I was gonna drive up there, but my dad can't get off work."

What is your overall interest in Oregon?

"They're in my top three."

What is your top three?

"UCLA, Oregon, and Boise State."

Is that in any particular order at all?

"No. I actually have a top five...there's no particular order. There's UCLA, Oregon, Boise State, Nebraska, and Arizona State. Those are just the top five schools that I'm thinking of taking an unofficial visit on."

What about Oregon has you so interested in the program?

"They have really good leadership skills. They take care of their kids, they take care of their guys. They put them in the best uniforms, they give them the best facilities in the nation -- their weight room is unbelievable...they just take care of their guys and that's something I'm looking for in a college."
