Shelton Will Take All His Visits

Auburn (Wash.) defensive tackle Danny Shelton, one of the stars of UCLA's Linemen Camp, will take his five trips before he makes a decision...

Auburn (Wash.) defensive tackle Danny Shelton (6-3, 288) was easily the standout performer at the UCLA Lineman Camp earlier this month.

It's not a surprise, though, since Shelton is one of the best defensive linemen in the West.

With several offers to choose from, Shelton doesn't appear to be in any real rush to make a decision.

"I have some good offers right now, from Washington, Oregon, UCLA, Washington State, Cal, Oregon State and Stanford," said Shelton. "I'm really liking the Pac-10 schools."

Originally from Sacramento, Shelton likes California for school, but also said that Washington, being close to his Auburn home, is also an intriguing possibility.

"I'm open to anything right now," said Shelton. "I want to take all of my visits though before I decide. I like Cal and UCLA because I'm from California but I also like Washington because it's close to my home now."

Shelton, though, said that no school tops the list.

"I'm still pretty open right now, I'll know more when I set my visits up and have a top five probably around the start of the season," said Shelton. "I'm going to take all five trips before I make my decision."

Shelton said he enjoyed his time in Southern California.

"It was a real good camp, I got to learn a lot from the UCLA coaches," said Shelton. "The campus was really nice and the weather was perfect."

Academically, Shelton has a 3.6 GPA and took the SAT earlier this spring.
