We talked to him about the summer he's been having as far as the schools he's visited.
McClure said: "I've been to UCLA and San Diego State and also USC. Those are within driving distance. I liked UCLA and the relationship I have with the coaches. San Diego State is like hometown, only 45 minutes away."
When asked for a current group of favorites, McClure responded: "I'm looking at all of them but there are a few that jump out. My only visit right now is to Washington but UCLA is hopping out, too. They're the hometown school and a great place to play and everything like that."
One of the schools not on the west coast McClure is considering is Miami. He talked more about that.
"I'm looking at Miami. They have already offered me. I really like the tradition they have at The U, how they're a family, and how they put people into the league. They have a 12-1 student ratio being a private school and that's really nice."
While his only plan for an official visit is to Washington right now, McClure plans to pick out the other four in the near future.
"I'm gonna see what happens, talk to the coaches, and try to narrow it down to my top five," he said.
The standout corner prospect talked about what he'll be looking for in a school. He said, "Coaching staff, class sizes, what type of education I can get, playing time, and also location will come in there."
Inside the classroom, McClure claims a 3.1 GPA and a 1250 SAT score.
