4-Star DT Knows Three He'll Visit

The #23-ranked defensive tackle in the nation, Darian Cooper from Maryland, narrowed his list of schools recently and now recognizes three of them he knows he'll visit officially...

Darian Cooper, the 6-1, 290-pound defensive tackle prospect from Hyattsville (Maryland) DeMatha, has been one of the hottest recruits in the country this offseason. He was receiving offers almost every week for about a five-month stretch. He narrowed his school interest list recently and has started to plan which schools will get his official visits.

""I am not completely sure which schools will get the five visits," said Cooper. "I do know the schools I am focusing on the most right now are Penn State, UCLA, Georgia Tech, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, North Carolina State and Maryland."

Although Cooper wasn't sure where he will take all five visits, but he did talk about three schools in particular.

"Out of my final list I would say that I will definitely be taking an official visit to Penn State, Georgia Tech and UCLA. After that I will just wait and see."

Cooper and his team have their first scrimmage of the season this upcoming weekend.
