"I'm in the process of deciding where I want to take my five official visits," McReynolds stated. "I know for sure I'm going to visit UCLA, Oregon and Arkansas, and I have a lot of other schools I'm considering."
"I'm still in contact with Maryland, USC, Ohio State, Rutgers, Texas Tech, and a lot of other schools," he continued. "I have taken a lot of unofficial visits, so I pretty much know what I'm looking for. I'm in no hurry to make my decision, and the official visits will be very important."
Although he is still in contact with college coaches, McReynolds admitted he has put recruiting on the back burner, preferring to concentrate on his upcoming season.
"I'm more focused on my team, and my season, far more than recruiting right now," McReynolds stressed. "This should be a great year for us, and I'm totally focused on winning games."
As far as his interest in Ohio State, McReynolds said they're still recruiting him, and he is interested.
"I still get hand-written mail from Ohio State, and I'm definitely thinking of taking an official visit there," he explained. "My team plays a game in Ohio next month, at Steubenville, and I'm looking forward to playing against a great Ohio team, because I know how great high school football is in that state."
On September 17th, McReynolds and his St. John's College teammates, will travel to face Steubenville Big Red, in what should be a great high school football game.
