Who he will commit to is still a secret but the four-star signal caller has released a statement on his Facebook account that he has indeed made his verbal commitment and has set an announcement date.
The statement read: "I just want to inform everyone that I have made the decision on my commitment. My family and I would like to thank everyone for your understanding and patience while I looked at the numerous quality programs that extended offers to me to continue both my academic and athletic future. I understand how important this week will be for my team and I to stay focused and prepare for an important and meaningful game this week. I have decided to make my decision known on Monday, September 6, 2010. I appreciate all the support that my family, coaches, friends, and the entire chandler community has given me throughout this journey, and wish to thank all.Since my decision was made this evening, we will be arranging a time and place for my decision to be made public. Thank all, and God Bless."
He is expected to pick between UCLA and Washington.
He took an unofficial visit to UCLA last weekend, and watched the football's team's fall scrimmage Saturday. It was planned for him to take an unofficial visit to Washington this weekend, but he ultimately didn't.
Whether that's a sign or not that he's chosen UCLA is anybody's guess. He had visited Washington uofficially before.
Hundley and his Chandler teammates beat Mesa Skyline this past Friday and play Peoria Centennial this week.
